I have about 8 Lipoly packs, including a couple TP, and I dont think any of them have any sort of charge safe in them, I too would double check your settings, you said you charged a Duralight, isnt that a LiIon and not a LiPoly? Just checking.

This is why I buy a specific charger for what I do. No chance of burning them up then.
