Check this out, I just bolied some pre-mounted Medials. Came with the bright yellow rims, and I dyed them black. Turned the stove up to 6 and let them simmer for 20 minutes. Glue is still totally in tact and strong as it was before. only problem was that the dye wouldn't soak in wherever there was tire glue close to the bead, so I had to do some very minor touching up with a sharpie.
