I have two Hyper 8 ports. Top end is really good, but the torque is lacking. I don't have a boost bottle, so that will probably help a bit. The engines do run hot, and it's true that they do not hold a tune as well as others. Also, the stock carb is not the greatest either, and will not hold a tune for very long. I use mine for practice, and use my p5 for racing. So, for the additional price you would pay for a bottle setup and a new higher quality carb, you might as well get Rossi, RB, etc.
