The windex method works well with Monokote over either Monokote or Ultracote. Ultracote will not stick well with the windex method, I think it's something different about the adhesive. However, I did mine with Ultracote over ultracote and just ironed it on with a iron set at medium low. If you keep the iron moving and go from one edge to the other and push the air out as you go there really aren't much bubbles. Ultracote will bubble badly if you use higher temps though. I did use a trim iron set on high just on the edges to seal them down after the covering was on.
