I can totally relate to having someone build my planes. My free time is getting harder and harder to come by and I would rather fly. BUT I'm also kind of cheap. If it's winter I don't mind assembling my own ARF (not a kit). But in summer forget about it. I'm gonna fly.

The way this thread started it sounded like someone was looking to buy something and wanted feedback on if it was too much. When people re-sell stuff even new it goes for less than new. In fact it goes very cheap most of the time. But if you're building the plane for someone then that's a whole different situation IMO. Then you can bargain up front and agree on a price and make sure it's good for both parties.

Me, I'd like to start a small business flying other people's planes.....
