I still wouldn't pay for someone to assemble an ARF... One reason alot of people get into this hobby is to build their own planes.. Assemble their own equipment.. in my opinion..
But thats
your outlook on the hobby, and kinda mine also. But most folks today really don't think that way, thats why kits have become scarce on the hobby shop shelves. I live in the Baltimore/Washington metro area and if my LHS puts a new ARF sport airplane like the Ultra Stick .40 assembled and ready to go in the store for $400 it won't sit more than 2-3 days, if that. If the customer crashes it, they just come back and ask buy another one! Thats a fact!!!
Thats exactly why I don't do ARF assembly any more. I got overwhelmed trying to keep up with the demand and had no to time to build for myself.
