RE: Which 3-D capable plane is good for a LA 40?
The ModelTech .25-.32 Extra 300 would be a good choice as well. Got two of them. One with an FX.25 , the 2nd with a LA.25.
The .25LA is really a weak-stick on this plane and I see most guys either converting to brushless or slappin on a .40 to these little Extras. They seem to fly better with the added weight of a larger engine. Land better for sure.
I have an OS .40LA Natural that came on a SuperStar MkII trainer. The almost new motor is tweaked in and very reliable,,,,,but weak. I'm putting it on the 2nd 300 next week and giving it a try.
Wouldn't the Great Planes Dazzler .40 work for Pelham as well ?
