We had our IMAC competition this past weekend and had a few mishaps. This Hanger 9 Sukhoi, 97in. wingspan with a DA 100, was lost during the free style Sunday afternoon. Seems the pilot was performing a inverted flat spin and got to low and didn't have enough altitude to pull out. Notice the missing head and broken piston on the DA. What a mess. Sorry about the picture, for it was taken at 2046x 1536 quality but after resizing and cropping to post it on RC Universe --- all I have left is a lousy picture.

On Saturday, a 114 in wingspan custom fiberglas and carbon fiber Extra 330 (estimated value $15,000) was lost. Reason-- unknown.
