Default RE: 3d for a 4 star?

I agree, the 4* isn't designed for 3D, but that doesn't mean you can't make it do 3D stunts with a little mods.

I have a 4*60 kit I built years ago with a YS .91FZ (supercharged 4-strk) spinning a APC 15x6. I added 1" to the elevator and rudder. Pull-pull on the rudder, dual elevator servos, I made the rudder with a counter balance tip on top also. I didn't add any to the ailerons though. I mainly hover and torque roll this plane and it do it fairly easily, but not as easy as my Funtana S 90. I added/created a motorized candy drop/parachute drop section controlled by a servo up front also. I have a total of 7 servos in this bird.

It is really cool to see the plane flying around and dropping candy then all of a sudden seeing it knife edge and torque roll all within the same flight.

I wouldn't buy this plane expecting it to be a 3D plane. This was my 2nd plane years ago, but I still love the way it flys.
