I fly my 4* with a super tiger 51 on the nose...as far as the pull out power...never tried hovering ..it will hang on the prop for a bit ..it will go straight vertical when asked...has more than enough power to fly it the way it was meant to fly...as far as the 51 not being as gutsy as the 46 ax ..i know that the 51 will turn the same prop at a much higher rpm 11000 vs 13000 plus...other than that ..MTC
