i see your reasoning, but my flying friend has 2 of them, and i have held them, and watched him work on them, and they are balsa! these words came from his mouth about 4 thursdays ago "this plane is made from balsa, wich is more durable thatn u would think"
Your friend may THINK it's balsa, but either it's not, or that link isn't the same plane your friend is flying... Flypaper is right about the "molded" fuselage.... That's what "molded" means... molded from plastic or foam... Also, note the control surfaces are corrugated? Corrugated Balsa trees are EXTREMELY rare and very hard to find... [sm=bananahead.gif]
Edit: Ahhh, did more research... The WING is built up from balsa... Not the rest of the plane...
