I got 3" standoffs from Roger. I think that we used 1/4-20 for the firewall side and I am not really sure of the motor side. I do know that DA uses metric for all of their bolts, so I would guess #5 or larger.

For the DA 50/Patty combo, M5 screws on the engine side and 1/4*20 on the firewall side is what we have been making.
3" is also about what everybody wants but that is up to you guys.
As far as strenght, if you look at my own 33% with the ZDZ 80, I use 3 3/8" long standoffs with 10*32 at both ends and its in its 3rd year with no problems in sight.
