I have the TME simple smoke pump and it comes with an electronic switch unit that has a plug in for the reciever. My pump has capacitors installed on the motor and never caused any RFI in my airplanes. I did, however, make sure the pump was a few inches away from the reciever. Maybe three or four, and never had a problem even though I don't have PCM.
