I have the HPI 1200mah hump pack.
I wired in a conenctor from a peak charger onto it and cut a hoel in the radio box and let it hang out so i can charge the pack without having to open the radio box.

I cut a half circle in the front of the radio box jsut big enough for the wires to fit through and ran the wires through the shock tower and capped it with another connector to keep dirt and stuff out.

Another option is to get a switch harness.
