Thanks guys for all your help and thankfully it was just the blades,i did as you told me and started it up without the blades on and she sat as steady as a rock so new blades are on the way.
i did manage to balance the old (new) ones and yes with nearly half a roll of tape jsut so i could have a bt of a fly today (sunday)
But to my horror after ten minutes of hovering and feeling pretty pleased with my progress the new servo that i bought for the tail rotor SH** itself (PRETTY SCARY MOMENT FOR ME THE NOVICE) so now have to wait for replacement before the bird is back up to hover height.
