TT 39 Pro
I ran my TT 39 last night for the first time. I ran it on a test stand, not in the heli. I like to run my engines on a test stand first, it's easier to work with them, easier to control heat while breaking in, and when you put it in the heli or plane you know where it likes the needles to be set at.
My first impression is: What a nice little engine, starts very easy, will idle so low you can practically count the RPMs, fit and finish appear to be real nice, and (with an airplane prop anyway) I couldn't hardly get this thing hot, I could run it for several minutes at about 3/4 turn above a rich two stroke and that sucker just refused to get hot. I know with a prop they wont get as hot, but, I've broke-in several airplane engines and they just don't compare to the heat dispensation ability of this thing.
I'll put another half gallon through it then put it on the heli.
It's going into a JR Venture 30.
