Well I'm running the pull start on mine right now. My engine is not properly tuned yet, so pull start gets tiresome fast. I also have the little bit you can stick into a drill to turn over the crank. I love that. You just hook up the drill, zing, and the engine is being spun over way faster than the pull start could ever hope to, but I put the pull start on because I don't have a cordless drill, only a regular plug in kind.
