I also have a 7cap and I really like it. Keep the manual around. The radio is loaded with features and you cant remember them all. And to tell ya the truth, I really don't think there is anything wrong with any newer radio. I would only have to say that get as many channels as you can afford cause you will always be one short. That is what all the experienced fellas told me at the field.
