Hi Jim.

After seeing how this wing is constructed and how weak it actually is, I would strongly suggest that you don't try 2 piece wing. It may work but would scare me to try it especially if you end up on a day that gets real bumpy.

I had thought about doing the same thing when I put my ryan together and now am glad I did not. It would take a lot of rebuild work to make it strong enough.

That's my opinion though. If you do it I hope it works. It is a pain to take this plane to the field.
