RE: Ultrastick .80 update request
I have had mine for 2 years now and wouldn't part with it. I mounted the servos in the tail and used carbon fiber shafts instead of the dowels. While the covering was off, I added a piece of birch ply to the wing to support the shafts. I started off with an Enya .80 4-stroke and it was a good match. I use this plane to break in engines, so it has had several power plants. It currently has an MVVS .77 2-stroke on the nose and that is the best combo yet. I also beefed up the landing gear support area after the original gear folded back on me after the first flight.
