It's not a good idea to run an engine sitting in the fuselage on the ground...lots of dirt is going to be sucked into your engine intake...one ruined engine.
It doesn't matter wheather the surface is tarmac or fine grass...small dirt particles is always getting into the engine if you run it on the ground.
