I guess you have never tried to take red loctite apart my friend. It will give you a hernia! That stuff is so strong it snaps bolts up to 1/4" with ease cause it locks so well. Its made for large heavy duty things that you can use a pnuematic impact wrench. Even the box says "for permanant use only" so unless you plan on never taking your truck apart again.............use red loctite.

Also on the CVD front. You dont need to use red loctite on that either! Just use a peice of shrink wrap on the bell. I did that and it works great. Then I bought the racers edge CVD booties which are even better! It keeps alll the crap out of my CVD's! I took them apart to service them (clean and re-pack with grease) and they didnt even need it!

Also the thread-lock MIP gives is junk. Use the permatex stuff or loctite brand.
