The gear worked fine after they were intalled, he just had the normal CJM customer service issues, (very slow responses and shipping for replacement of defective parts)and some quality control issues (one unit fell apart, and one was very sloppy loose at pivot points, I believe). No problems w/ steering, he used a pull-pull system.
In fact, he's building a new one, a "Super" and is planning on using the gear and motors from the crash. They all came out w/out any damage.
