Oooooo that looks fatal........

To get rid of hornets, put some heavily sugared water somewhere safe - lots of it...they will eat so much and be so groggy that they can hardly fly...you can knock them out of the air with a spray bottle filled with water and detergent, ( a lot less toxic than killer spray...don't forget, you are breathing the stuff too!) Then sweep up the bodies and put them in a plastic pail with a tight fitting lid, and leave...nature will do the rest. I used to work in a food plant that used a lot of sugar, and we had hords or the critters every summer, and I needed something to keep me entertained during those long afternoon shifts...... killed a lot of hornets that summer.......
