RE: 3W- 50 PROBLEMS NEED HELP
Thanks for all the comments. First, I got the 3W 50 back from Cactus. Bobby hammered out the problems quick. Problem #1: Air leak in carb block (hairline cracks around mounting holes). Probably my fault, possibly overtightened. New block installed and bench run. #2: During bench run found ignition to be inconsistant (under waranty). Replaced for free and sent the 50 back to me. There and back in one week. Followed Bobby's starting procedures, runs great. Now I can fly.
I also went with the 3W 106 (w/ upgraded crankshaft)from Cactus for my Composite Arf 2.6m Yak. It's on the way with the tuned canisters.
