I have never tested the maximum thickness. I never cut anything thicker than 1/8" on dense materials because of beam divergence that would affect accuracy on thicker parts and materials. I have cut 1/4 balsa with no problems. E-mail Robert Conway at his site, he can give you the real specs on what it can or cannot do.
Sorry, not thickness but maximum length and width. They have thickness on their site. I was curious about the bed size.
