Yes, on a DC brushed motor, the two wires may be colored black and red, but you can safely swap them. the designer of the motor does not necessarily know which way you want to turn the motor. For example, if you use this same motor on the front of an airplane (traditional "tractor" configuration) you want it to turn one way. if you use this motor on a pusher plane (such as a zagi flying wing or stryker, etc, the same motor/prop combination will have to have the wires reversed.
