Default Integy's on MT2

I am currently building up a hot MT2 for racing.
It will have the JT racing chassis,
OS Max 18CV-RX,
CEN Aluminium tuned pipe,
Integy MSR4 Piggyback shocks,
One way front diff,
Aluminium brake seat,
GX1 brake disk and pads,
JR Cobra radio gear,
Hitec HS645 steering servo,
Full stainless hex screw set from RC Screws (these are great value!)
Venom failsafe.

I have just started the build and have come across my first problem, that is the Integgy shocks are approx 18mm longer than thae standard CEN shock.
Since I am using the JT shock towers, I have gained a little there, but I needed more so I decided to alter the bottom mounting point on the lower arm.
To do this I made up a custom bottom bracket out of plastic (as can be seen in the photos).
Has anybody done this conversion? Is there a better way?
I have currently made only one to test it and will wait and see if any better ideas come up before I make a whole set, hopefully out of black plastic, not white!
Also any idea on what tyres I should use, keeping the standard rim size.

Man, I cant wait to get this baby goin!!! [sm=lol.gif]

Attached are some pics of the maybe setup, plus my chassis stiffening mod.
