I agree, I wouldn't use it...but it is designed for what you want to do.

I would suggest any silicone over 100k (although I have never tried to do this myself), it should have the effect you are looking for I am sure...it will still be difficult to clean out though, if you change your mind...

Thinking about it, has anyone out there got any recommendations for how to get really gooey silicone out of your diffs? Degreasing agent doesn't seem to work very well, it's just too thick...
