I have heard of the Coffee can method that fokker20planes describes - it is suppose to be the method of choice by professionals - if you have the room and lots of leak proof containers.

Personally I put a lot of after run in the engine and then use the zip lock bag - no problems in 2 years and it take up a lot less room than the Coffee Cans.

All a matter of choice and personal situations.
