The factory stadoffs are too long that is why I had to order the new ones. You really dont have a lot of cowling to extend the enigine distance too much. as far as my distance it is 6 1/2 wich is what the manual calls for. the da is 3.75" long so a 2.75" stand off gets you to the recomended 6.5".
