Put off the engine installation, a little to busy tonight but am planning to attach it tomorrow. My standoffs are 2.5" long and put my prop at 6 3/8" off the firewall(including spinner backplate). The cowl fits and has roughly 1/8 inch clearance from the spinner. It looks right to me but you are saying i need the 2.75" Standoffs? Would that small distance really manage to throw my plane off? How would it affect the plane? What size standoffs did your DA come with? Thanks
