Buy a compressor, it will just blast the grease straight out, then you can clean it with a tissue and Isopropanol alcohol, they will be spotless (This is my way of doing it). I think you just fill the diffs up to the top of the gears, if you put to much in it will make a right mess when screwing the diff back together!!
