Actual testimony from a court case (not mine - thank goodness):

Lawyer: Doctor, did you examine the plaintiff?
Doctor: Yes.
Lawyer: And doctor, as a result of your examination was the plaintiff pregnant?
Doctor: She was pregnant, but it wasn't a result of my examination.
