About the only time I use the glow ignitor off the power panel these days is if my "Hot Shot" battery is dead [] (forgot to charge after the winter ) or if I am starting an inverted engine. I find an inverted engine frequently requires a bit more juice than a "Hot Shot" can provide to keep the plug hot enough.
