Yes , it does work . granted .... not as good as a water cooled jug , but it does indeed work . The only thing you really need to make sure of , is that it is a tight snug wrap around the upper part of the jug . ( or get yourself a KOOL KLAMP , if you can find one [&o] )
What I do , is once I get the tubing wrapped tight , I then take some silver solder ( high temp ) and solder the tubing together so that whilst I have it snug around the jug , it stays that way . I solder the upper section to the next lower wind and so on and so forth . I also try to get at least 3 to 4 wraps .
