One of those planes....read on!
Have you ever had a plane you just could never really get confortable with? This is the way it was with me and the GP Giles 202 ARF. The plane flew very very good, with plenty of power with the OS 160 and never did snap when I didn't want it to, but I just never could get comfortable with the plane. Don't ask me why, it is just one of those planes that you just can't really seem to like.
So today I traded the Giles, engine and on board radio gear with a friend of mine for a WM Super Stunts 60 that has the Saito 180 on it and high dollar high tech 5945 servos all the way through and a 10 channel receiver.
This may seem strange, but the person that I made this trade with owns both Hobbytown Hobby Shops here in Austin and is a very good friend of mine. It's as if we both own both planes, so I am just storing a different plane than when I woke up this morning.
Don't flame me too bad, but this just seems the best thing to do since he really liked my Giles and I didn't. I really enjoy flying the Super Stunts with the 180 on it and have put it thru rigid testing and it is holding up very well because it is slightly modified to handle the extra power. I know this is a wierd thing to do, but I think it worked out for the best for both of us.
