I think you did well in the trade. IMO it doesn't matter how much you lose or think you lose on a trade, I have traded and sold a few planes I just didn't feel comfortable with. It beats crashing the thing and walking away w/ a radio and motor.

As long as your happy, who cares what other people think.

I have got 1 plane that I absolutely love. Its a MS Menace funfly w/ a 48" wing. Out of all the planes that I own and have owned, this is my favorite plane of all time. I paid $67 for the kit. Took less than 1 week from the time I got it delivered to flying time. I wouldn't take $300 for the plane alone. And I have flown the living snot out of it.

I would have to think very, very hard if somebody offered to swap me a 1/4 edge for it. I know they wouldn't offer it, but I would have to think about it very hard if they did.

I have some emotionial ties to it. This is the first plane I was able to hover consistantly and do a rudder touch.

I let other people fly it and they HATE it. I couldn't give them the plane.
