The 70 Surpass will work fine on your trainer, but why would you want to use an expensive engine to power your trainer. The chances are any engine on a trainer is going to take a great deal of abuse. I think you would be better off to use a plain bearing, inexpensive two stroke engine. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth!!!
