Default RE: extra 260 with Saito 180

Yeah, if horizon says the saito 220 is the right power then you can bet that a 1.80 will never work for 3D. Horizon is bad about posting marginal engine sizes with their planes. Example the 40 size funtana. The exclaimed that the saito .72 was a 3D monster on the plane. I have done this setup, left the pants off and the cowl off, used a lithum battery and the .72 is marginal at best!!! The same goes for the bigger Funtana and the saito 1.00 (from what I am told its a weak combo). IMO I wouldnt buy this plane until I let a few people test it out first. You dont want to invest that kinda money on a marginal setup. On the other hand it might be a bit small for a 50cc gasser. I saw if fly at Joe Nall, lots of IMAC but no 3D.
G-62 + this plane = PIG. BTW you dont save much weight converting it to electronic ignition b/c you got to factor in another battery pack, and switch. You will have well over 550 in the g-62 if you buy it new, get the bisson muffler, and convert it to electronic igniton and you be heavier than the DA-50 still, with less power.
