Ok, I hope you have a little extra rod on the end of your brake linkage, because the stock linkage rod fits in there PERFECT. I have rebuilt about 5 CV shafts with homemade pins from that linkage rod, and they all worked fine.

It would be a good idea to pick up a stock linkage set to chop up for extra pins. I always carry two precut pins with me wherever I go, just in case I lose one.
