Hi Guy's, Well, I guess I have to eat some crow about now I've had a bit of correspondence via PM's with Tommy, and I now understand how the team functions. As I told Tommy, I believe a lot of the "negative" stuff said regarding jet jocks is misperception, and misunderstanding, not to mention a good dose of envy to top it off. Sure there are snobs and buttholes in every aspect of out hobby, and everything else in life for that matter. It's just that RC enthusiasts tend to be several groups of close knit people, jet guy's, warbird guys, 3D guys, pattern guys and so on. Myself, I'm a warbird guy, as are a lot of jet guys...but my thing has been WWII prop driven birds for as long as I can remember. Just last summer the jet bug started biting me...and when I saw the new Airworld Mig-21 it became a full blown obsession for a few weeks. Actually untl I realized a few things...I don't have a turbine waiver, I don't have a DF time to speak of, and most of all, at this point in time it's just not in my budget...so what does that equal? Envy, at least for me it does. Any way, I would like to appologize if I offended anyone, it was not my intention. I do support the US team morally, and if I could afford it I would financially as well. I think my misperception of "jet guy's" in general has been set straight by Tommy. With a little luck, in a year or two maybe I'll be one of you guys that are envied by others too
