Hello all,

I am a fellow conversion nut that has a somewhat non-conversion question. I have an old Quadra 42 that uses points ignition. The engine runs like a champ, but was involves in a little ground to plane incident that seems to have damaged the white plastic housing behind the flywheel. I would like to remove the points and run it on a more modern type of mag/flywheel ignition.

Does this involve more than changing the Mag and flywheel?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!
