I purchased a Kyosho Cap 232 some 3 years ago - built it up and never got around to flying it. I am now ready to fly again and am unable to find the instructions manual. (not the best idea eh?)
So here is the problem: Do I have the 60 or 40 size? The plane has the exact same scheme as:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/product_gu....cfm?kit_id=98
My wingspan is 59 1/2". This makes me think its the 60 size, but when I compare it to my brothers' other planes that are 40's - this plane turns out to be smaller than those!
How can my plane be a 60 if its seems so small?
If it IS a 60 size arf, would it be unwize to put an FX .46 on it with a 12.25x3.5 prop? Will that not pull it?
And --- does anyone know the exact CG on this thing? Through extensive research online, I have found that on the 60 it should be ~2-3/4" and on the 40 it should be 3-3/8". Thats a big difference so I really need to know what my plane is. Beyond that - from where do I pull the CG? From the leading edge or from the cut back section that locks under the fuselage?
Help would be greatly appreciated on this one. Thanks.
