I purchased a Kyosho Cap 232 some 3 years ago - built it up and never got around to flying it. I am now ready to fly again and am unable to find the instructions manual. (not the best idea eh?)
So here is the problem: Do I have the 60 or 40 size? The plane has the exact same scheme as: http://www.rcuniverse.com/product_gu....cfm?kit_id=98
My wingspan is 59 1/2". This makes me think its the 60 size, but when I compare it to my brothers' other planes that are 40's - this plane turns out to be smaller than those!
How can my plane be a 60 if its seems so small?
If it IS a 60 size arf, would it be unwize to put an FX .46 on it with a 12.25x3.5 prop? Will that not pull it?
And --- does anyone know the exact CG on this thing? Through extensive research online, I have found that on the 60 it should be ~2-3/4" and on the 40 it should be 3-3/8". Thats a big difference so I really need to know what my plane is. Beyond that - from where do I pull the CG? From the leading edge or from the cut back section that locks under the fuselage?
Help would be greatly appreciated on this one. Thanks.

Dude ... if its the yellow Breitling one then its the 40. Yours is definately the 60 sized one. She is a very nice plane to fly. Please iron down all the stripes and edges before you fly her, they have a tendency to come off fast! CG is measured from the tip of the leading edge at the root and not anywhere behind it such as the cut away!

I have a 40 size that is yellow and blue not the Yellow or Silver Breitling Cap described above. Ill bet a 60 would be great in the 40 size plane. The cowling is large enough to hold two 60's. I still have the instruction book if you need some info.

Guys, I have the 40 (yellow and Blue) size with a OS 61FX, what a fun to fly plane and did I mention its FAST with unlimited vertical. I first flew it with a enya 51 CX and talk about being under powered, forget a 46 in the 40 size cap.

OS91 is cheaper and has a lot less vibration than the Saito 100 ... please don't get a ST G90!!! Sorry but its one low performing engine with vibration.
