Duratrax has redesigned their dogbones! I kept on snapping mine due to the torque of the .18cvr but the new dogbones no longer have the hemispherical connections. They switched to a prong-like connection for strength.

Could you elaborate on that one a bit? I don't really understand what part of it that they changed. I just bought a new set of of them because I snapped both of my rear ones at the joint. Are you sure you just didn't buy the universal axles made for the non-pro electric Evader ST? That's what it sounds like you are describing.[&:]
Also, 46u has a great idea there. I do the same thing and never have any problems with pins falling out.
