Default RE: Jet World Masters Support

Jeremy, Tommy has me seeing things a bit differently than I did first off. However, you're statement
"Well, I dunno, seems to me fundraising to send the kids on a ski trip or camp of some sore is no different than sending pilots to the WJM to represent a country. Last I checked, flying model jets was about as non-profit as you can get LOL "
doesn't sit too well with me. Fund raising for the school ski trip is for children / students not adults to fund their hobby. Fund raising for student activities allows for those students who come from lower income families to participate in and ennjoy these activities discretly without the stigma of coming from a lower income family. Could be a middle income family too, but they can't afford the extra $$ to send little Joey on the trip, because Dad had to buy a new turbine
Also, I don't see many guy's flying turbines that can't afford too. Sure some are on a budget, maybe even a tight one...but come on, there is a huge difference here between the Jet team and the school ski trip. If you don't see it then maybe maybe you should take a reality check LOL.
