Haven't started the conv. yet. Will probably be awhile. The case was all aluminum, and was cast as part of the saw body. Lot's of bandsaw work, painted crankcase red, looks cool. Engine without muffler or carb weighs 3lb 8oz. Has single ring, bearings on all wear surfaces, strong looking conn rod and crank. I removed mag ignition and will convert to C&H. Will initially try fixed timing. This worked OK on my Homey 45.
