All current Futaba FM transmitters are compatible with all current Futaba FM receivers, except the new R5014DPS receiver, which is the PCM2048 receiver for the 14MZ. It makes no difference whether the receiver is PCM or PPM. If transmitter is PCM, then it will operate all Futaba PCM receivers. If it's PPM, then it will operate all PPM receivers.

The 9C Super has a few added functions over the 9C, mostly in the glider section.

A gyro can be used with almost any transmitter that has an extra auxiliary channel or two.
