Default WIND ?????

Hey JB and John, ya my bleeding heart - right !!
Chris and I were just out flying the 10.5 OZ. Micro Edge in 20 + Gusty MPH breezes - sure makes it a lot of FUN !! I hope for the best JB in regards to your club guidlines in relation to in close hovering etc. Like all of you have said , the main issue is safety and commom curtisy to all other modelers. We belong to a good club (LVRCS) with about 230 members. Overall everyone gets along pretty well and we respect all types of flying. We fly on a large farm and have the luxery of a side L shaped runway that is used for most Helo flying and Fun Fly / 3D practice if the main runway is being used by 1 or more modelers that may not want all this wild and crazy 3D stuff in their face and distracting their flying. I definitly understand , respect and appreciate this common sence and safe guidline / rule !
This is one reason we like to fly on windy / breezy days , as there is often only a few of us out then. But it sure does make TRin and some other manuvers a bit more challenging and interesting for sure ! Good luck to all and keep having FUN !!! If we are not having FUN and enjoying this wonderful Hobby - then we had better look into something else I guess?? Keep em hanging nose up !!
Happy Landings , Rod & Chris in PA.
